The Game Lawsuit Over "RYDA" Cover Art Comes To An End.
The Game has reached a settlement in the lawsuit over the cover art for his "Ryda" single with DeJ Loaf.
According to the Jasmine Brand, Ariza Obey filed documents on March 22, saying that he is no longer pursuing legal action against the Compton, California rapper and is dismissing the case.
Obey intended to sue The Game in August because the "Ryda" artwork resembled a photo he posted to his Instagram of a man and woman embracing each other holding guns outwards. He claims that The Documentary 2 rapper was likely to see it because of a series of mutual connections and the original image's popularity on the social media site.
The Game has an ongoing lawsuit from a woman who claimed he sexually assaulted her and, in another case, lost a default judgment and must pay $100,000 to an off-duty police officer whom he punched during a basketball game.
