Kanye West & Ludwig van Beethoven To Meet In “Yeethoven” Mash-Up Concert
Kanye West and the iconic German composer ‘Ludwig van Beethoven’ will reportedly come together in the form of ‘Yeethoven’ to put on a concert with the Young Musicians Foundation.
‘Yeethoven’ will be playing at the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center in Los Angeles, and will feature six works by Beethoven and six works from Kanye West’s 2013 album Yeezus, which will be “orcherstrated, juxtaposed, developed, spliced and varied together’ by a 70-piece orchestra.
“The purpose of the Great Music Series is to explore commonalities between the music of our times and classical masterpieces of the past,” the YMF website says.
