Tinashe Responds To Chris Brown, Talks about Kehlani’s suicide attempt
Following his controversial comments about Kehlani’s suicide attempt last week, Chris Brown received backlash from his collaborators including Zendaya and Tinashe, who reportedly unfollowed him on Twitter.
Tinashe said she “laughed it off.”
“I felt like it was just so unnecessary,”I was just like, ‘Whatever.’…That’s just so unnecessary. I just think it’s silly. It’s petty. What’s the benefit?”
She went on to say that she didn’t bother talking to Breezy about it either. “It’s not even worth it,” she added. “It’s not a big deal to me. I don’t think that follows on Twitter are a big deal…If I see him, I would love to speak to him. I would love if he reached out. I have absolutely nothing against him. We were on good terms as far as I knew.”
Despite being on good terms with Breezy, Tinashe explained why it was “not nice” to see comments about Kehlani’s apparent suicide attempt online. “It was just a lot,” she said. “It’s always hard when everything that’s really personal is just on social media in general. It’s just a messy situation. It’s not nice. It’s not nice to see. It’s not fun. It’s not positive.”
