Beyonce Heading For Billboard History With 6 No. 1 Albums
Another day brings forth another record set by the one and only Queen Bey. Just over the weekend, all eyes were on Beyonce to see what the hype and mania was about in regards to her HBO “Lemonade” special. Releasing her 6th studio album, LEMONADE, shortly after, it’s been full fledged Beyonce-mode in all aspects of the media. While being a Tidal exclusive for a little more than 24 hours, Queen Bey rose to the top of the iTunes charts, along with all of the records from her new album, with ease and is projected to land at the top of the Billboard Top 200 chart once again. With this accomplishment, it now lands Beyonce a new record that no one before her has set, according to Billboard.
Queen Bey’s latest release is set to debut at the top of the Billboard 200 chart dated May 14, according to industry forecasters. If Lemonade arrives at the top of the list, she will become both the first act to reach No. 1 with her first six studio albums, and also the first to debut at No. 1 with her first six studio sets.
Once again proving that she’s in a league of her own, it goes to show that even with 4 days of recorded album sales, due to her release in the middle of the tracking week, Beyonce can still top the charts and count on the support of her tribe of loyal fans.
Fresh off of starting her “Formation World Tour” in Miami, there’s no need to question if sales will slow down as the stadium tour will draw in more interest. Simply put, Beyonce has struck gold once again.
