50 Cent Does Not Have Biological Third Son
50 Cent took to Instagram last week to share a photo of himself meeting his third son for the first time. It turns out that the boy, whose name is Davian, is not the G-Unit general's biological son, but the rapper tells Hot 96.3 that because he was so excited to see 50, the rapper embraced him.
"I just met him and it was interesting because he looked at me and he’s shaking," 50 Cent says, "he’s crying, he’s all the things that I wish my oldest son was, but we just don’t have that relationship."
50's oldest son is Marquise Jackson, who is nearing 20 years old. The rapper says he has not spoken to his eldest in about five years and it would be "pretty tough" to have a relationship with him now. Jackson, whose mother is Shaniqua Tompkins, has described his relationship with his father as "strained."
"When you pray for success, you don’t pray for jealousy, envy or entitlement and those things come along with it," the Power producer says, "and his mum’s entitlement has been filtered through him, so while being a privileged child, still feels deprived.”
50 Cent, who has a toddler son, Sire, with Daphne Joy, says that he is done having children, but would still like to serve as a mentor.
"I’d like to have people that I can influence," he says, "so it’s not necessarily my kids. I don’t want adult kids. I have full-blown adult kids that I’m getting rid of them. I take the little guys early on and make sure they don’t make the mistakes that I made."
