Drake's 'Views' Sells 1.2 Million Albums Worldwide in 6 Days
According to Republic Records, Views has been streamed a whopping 250 million times on Apple Music, which is currently the LP’s exclusive streaming home. Furthermore, Views has sold 1.2 million albums worldwide through iTunes in less than six days.
That figure, which includes 1 million sales in the U.S. alone, adds to Drake’s previous claims that Views sold 360,000 copies in one night.
Currently No. 1 on iTunes in 95 countries, Views will arrive at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart next week.
Physical copies are due at retailers on Friday (May 6), while other streaming platforms are slated to receive the album on May 13.
