Bobby Shmurda Trial Delayed for Fourth Time
Bobby Shmurda’s long-awaited trial date has been pushed back yet again.
On Monday (May 9), the Brooklyn rapper’s trial on a series of charges was moved to Sept. 12, according to Billboard. It’s the fourth time his trial has been postponed after initially being scheduled for Feb. 22.
Shmurda was arrested in Dec. 2014 after an investigation from the NYPD.
He now faces conspiracy, gun, and drug charges and has been denied bail at least seven times.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Shmurda planned to sue the NYPD over an allegedfalse arrest, claiming that it also caused him permanent “nervous shock and mental anguish.”
