Troy Ave Arrested in Connection with Shooting at T.I Concert
Troy Ave has been arrested in connection with last night’s shooting at a T.I. concert.
The Brooklyn rapper allegedly fired his gun in the club before accidentally shooting himself in the leg, according to the New York Daily News. He has been arrested and charged with Attempted Murder & Criminal Possession of a Weapon. Police say they may add more charges a well. Troy not only shot himself, but shot into a crowd because of beef he has with fellow Brooklyn rapper Maino.
The shooting occurred after Maino finished performing at the show and before Troy himself was set to take the stage. The Daily News also reports that ballistics tests will determine whether or not Troy is charged with murder in the shooting that left Ronald McPhatter, who is said to be Troy’s body guard, dead. Video has also surfaced of a man, who appears to be Troy Ave, firing his pistol inside Irving Plaza.
