Forbes has released its Highest-Paid Celebrities of 2016 list, comprised of the 100 celebrities who earned the most money between June 2015 and June 2016 to crack the Top 100. Taylor Swift took the #1 spot with a whopping $170 million earned. A few hip hop & luminaries made the cut as well:
13. Rihanna | $75 million 22. Diddy | $62 million 30. The Weeknd | $55 million 34. Beyoncé | $54 million 36. Jay Z | $53.5 million 63. Dr. Dre | $41 million 69. Drake | $38.5 million
This exclusive club looks pretty similar to Forbes' list of hip hop's five wealthiest members, released in May: Diddy, Dr. Dre, Jay Z,Birdman, & Drake.
Other celebrities of note in the top 50: Kevin Hart (#6, $87.5 million), Adele (#9, $80.5 million), LeBron James (#11, $77 million), Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (#19, $64.5 million), Kevin Durant (#26, $56 million), Cam Newton (#37, $53 million), Kim Kardashian (#42, $51 million), and Kobe Bryant (#43, $50 million).
