Alicia Keys and the We Are Here Movement have collaborated with Mic for a new video called “23 Ways You Could Be Killed If You Are Black in America.” It features Beyoncé, Chance the Rapper, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Bono, Janelle Monáe, Maxwell, Alicia Keys, Pharrell, Common, Chris Rock, Swizz Beatz, Queen Latifah, and more. In it, each artist identifies a particular victim of police violence and describes how their everyday actions led to their death because they are African-Americans. Beyoncé, for example, speaks on behalf of Philando Castile, who died for “riding in your girlfriend’s car.” Watch it below.
