Ciara Claims Future's Comments Cost Her A $500,000 Sponsorship
Ciara launched a defamation lawsuit against Future back in February, and in the months after, legal documents from the case have continued to surface. Today, TMZ has reported an update, pointing to docs which claim Ciara missed out on a lucrative deal with an international cosmetics company.
Mrs Wilson suggests she would have made somewhere around $500,000 off of the partnership, but the company backed off following tweets and interviews from Future which damaged her "positive reputation," pointing specifically to a series of tweets from the rapper regarding their son. "This bitch got control problems," he wrote. "I gotta go through lawyers to see baby future ... the fuckery for 15k a month."
Ciara says Future's comments have painted her as "controlling, dishonest, malicious, unreasonable, evil, conniving," and her business has been hurt as a result.
Ciara has stated in previous documents that Future has been allowed a very reasonable amount of visitation with his son, and that she would like for him to stop mentioning her in the media.
