VIEWS has achieved its 11th week at No. 1. Upon its release at the end of April, Drake's latest album held the top spot for nine consecutive weeks. Earlier this month, it was finally dethroned by Blink-182's California, but it has now been back at No. 1 for two straight weeks.
For the week ending July 21, VIEWS sold 89,000 equivalent album units, which is down three percent from last week, reports Billboard. VIEWS is the first album to attain 11 weeks at No. 1 since Taylor Swift's 2014 album 1989, which spent its 11th and final week atop the chart for the week of February 21, 2015.
VIEWS is reportedly one of eight albums to hold the 1 spot for 11 weeks in the last 20 years.
