The Weeknd Donates $250,000 To The Black Lives Matter Network
The Weeknd has experienced massive success over the course of the past five years. Now he's using the wealth he's made to help causes important to him.
Earlier this week, he made a $50,000 donation to the University of Toronto to help a start a new Ethiopic Studies program. The FADER reports that he has also made a $250,000 donation to the Black Lives Matter Network.
