Lil Wayne Angry At Birdman For Releasing Tyga From Young Money

According to TMZ, Wayne, who owns 49% of Young Money, an imprint under Cash Money and Tyga's previous label, did not sign off on the Cali rapper being released from his contract.

Wayne now says that, although Birdman owns a majority of the company, he should have been consulted. He also claims he would have been against the decision to let Tyga go.

This is just the latest chapter in the Cash Money and Wayne dispute. Weezy is suing the label for $51 million and has said he will retire if the money isn’t straightened out. Even if the finances are squared away, he’s vowed never to work with Birdman again.

Tyga recently signed with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint.
