Iggy Azalea On Album Delay: "I Kind Of Had My Personal Life Fall Apart"
It's been a minute since we've had new music from Iggy Azalea, but the Australian rapper has shared in a new interview with People Magazine, why her album, "Digital Distortion," has constantly been pushed back.
"It's no secret, I kind of had my personal life fall apart," she says, referring to her very public breakup with NBA Player Nick Young, whose ex-girlfriend is now pregnant with their second child together. "I needed a lot of time ... I mean, you wake up one morning and your fiancé is having a baby with someone else, you're going to need some time, right?" On top of taking a break from recording to work out her personal life, Iggy is now looking to take the project in a new direction, seeing as the songs she recorded came from a time when she was engaged to Young. "I just kind of felt like, on top of me needing the personal time, then feeling, 'Okay, I'm single now. I want to have sexy songs. I want to say stuff about being single," she said.
Whenever you're ready Iggy, we got you.
