Kanye West Reportedly Hospitalised In Los Angeles
Kanye West was hospitalised in Los Angeles on late Monday (Nov. 21) following a series of bizarre incidents that ended with him canceling his tour.
'Ye was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Centre for psychiatric evaluation. According to law enforcement sources (via TMZ), LAPD responded to a medical welfare call about 1:20 p.m. Paramedics ended up transporting Kanye to the hospital by ambulance. He reportedly resisted and had to be restrained when transported.
He was reportedly being examined by one of his doctors for severe sleep deprivation when it was determined that he needed to be admitted.
The decision to hospitalise West was for his own health and safety, added the sources. No criminal activity was suspected.
TMZ earlier reported that exhaustion was behind the cancelation. “He’s just exhausted,” said the source. “He’s been working around the clock on fashion design, both his own line and the adidas line.”
Kim Kardashian flew to New York on Monday to attend the Angel Ball, her first public appearance since the Paris robbery, but ended up bailing and heading back to L.A. to be by her husband’s side.
