James Corden To Host Grammy Awards 2017
CBS has announced that Late Late Show host James Corden will be taking over the hosting role for the 2017 awards.
Recording Academy President CEO Neil Portnow has shared a statement on the decision. "He’s got big shoes to fill after the magnificent run we had with LL Cool J," he said, adding, "James Corden is a commanding, dynamic showman who, we believe, is perfect to host the Grammy Awards." Corden himself also shared some thoughts on his new gig. "I am truly honoured to be hosting The Grammys next year," he said. "It’s the biggest, most prestigious award show in music and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such an incredible night."
LL Cool J hosted the event since 2012.
The ceremony will take place Sunday, February 12 on CBS.
