Young Thug Out Of Laneway Festival
Despite having his New Zealand visa, recent complications with the visa process for Australia means that Young Thug is not able to play any Laneway Festival dates in 2017. The promoters are deeply disappointed with this outcome as they have wanted Young Thug to play at the festival for some years now.
The promoters understand that patrons may have bought tickets specifically to see Young Thug and offer our sincerest apologies as well as a window for refund requests. See below for more details.
Sydney-based electronic project What So Not has agreed to cross the ditch for an appearance at Laneway Festival New Zealand. In late 2016 the in-demand producer and DJ released the stunning Divide & Conquer EP, followed by the much hyped colab with RL Grime and Skrillex ‘Waiting’ - a track Billboard called “an electrified banger”. What So Not takes a break from recording his full-length debut to get the Auckland crowd on their feet, before heading off on tour dates that include a return Coachella appearance.
Refund Requests: Refund requests are open for a limited period, for ticket purchasers who bought between 9pm on Wednesday 7th December 2016 (Time of Young Thug announcement) and 2.30pm on Wednesday 18th January 2017.
