Projects Released On Soundcloud Will Be Eligible For A Grammy In 2018
According to Chance The Rapper, all projects released on Soundcloud will be eligible for a Grammy starting in 2018. Chance took to Twitter to make the announcement, and who else is better to reveal the news other than the man responsible for pushing the boundaries.
The change itself will now allow completely independent artists, free of both label ties and ties to streaming services, to receive recognition for their work.
