50 Cent Pays Off $22 Million To Debtors; Ends Bankruptcy
According to a report from Billboard, A federal judge has discharged the G-Unit rapper’s bankruptcy case after he paid more than $22 million to his debtors.
Federal Judge Ann Nevins, who previously set up a 5-year plan for Fif to pay back $23 million out of his $36 million dollar debt last year, approved of his discharge yesterday in Hartford, Connecticut.
According to his lawyers, 50 Cent paid $8.7 million out of his own pocket, while the rest of the $13.65 million came from the malpractice settlement that he recently won against other attorneys.
