Iggy Azalea To Produce A Movie And A Reality TV Series
Deadline reports that Azalea optioned the rights to Temple Mathews' upcoming YA novel Bad Girl Gone. The plot revolves around a recently deceased girl forced to solve her own murder to escape purgatory. Macmillan’s St. Martin’s Griffin and Thomas Dunne Books will publish the novel this summer.
Brendan Deneen at Macmillan Entertainment will produce the film with Azalea and Patrick Hughes, who brokered the deal through his Foundation Media Partners.
Last August, Iggy signed a a first-look deal with Universal Cable Productions and Wilshire Studios to develop a reality TV show as well as high-end scripted fare.
