Kendrick Lamar Reveals New Album Release Date

Kendrick Lamar fans will have to wait one more week to get their hands on his album. The project, which was widely rumoured to drop April 7, will now arrive April 14.

A pre-order went to iTunes on tonight revealing the new date. The 14-track set still does not have a title and is simply listed as “ALBUM” with a black cover.

According to Pitchfork, the album credits include BADBADNOTGOOD, Mike WiLL-Made It, DJ Dahi, Sounwave, 9th Wonder, The Alchemist, and James Blake

.

P. Hewson, D. Evans, A. Clayton, and L. Mullen, who make up U2, are listed as composers. However, it’s unclear if Kendrick sampled a U2 song or if the band lends new vocals.
