Jay Z Extends Roc Nation’s Deal With Live Nation
Jay Z and Roc Nation are continuing their long-running partnership with Live Nation through a new longterm deal.
With their 10-year $150 million 360 deal coming to an end next year, the two parties have reached an agreement on new, undisclosed terms, according to Billboard.
“Live Nation has a new longterm deal with Jay Z and we expect to continue being equity partners in Roc Nation for many years to come,” said a spokesperson.
According to the report, this may not be an extension of the old deal, but rather a new one that mostly covers Hov’s touring business. Jigga and Live Nation are expected to continue to operate The Roc as a joint venture.
Prior to this, there was some speculation over whether Jay Z would take Roc Nation to Universal Music Group. Per the report, those speculations were unfounded.
