Chance the Rapper Talks LeBron James, Chicago & Activism on ‘The View’
Taking a break from his 2017 spring tour, Chance the Rapper appeared on The View on Thursday (Jun. 1). The young star discussed fatherhood, the term ‘Christian rap,’ comedian Dave Chappelle being an inspiration on the decisions he’s made in his career, the on-going social issues in Chicago, Donald Trump’s comments about the city, social activism and his family laying the foundation, and why he’ll never run for public office.
Chance opened the appearance by giving his thoughts on LeBron James, whose Los Angeles home was hit with racist vandalism.
