Fabolous Officially Receives Key To Brooklyn
In a ceremony carried out earlier in the day, rapper Fabolous officially received the key to his hometown of Brooklyn.
The honour also came in conjunction with the addition of his name to the Celebrity Path, located in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
Fab's reception of the key was first announced earlier this year and today, his impact and role within the borough was cemented as he was gifted with the key by borough President Eric L. Adams the same day famed artist Jean-Michel Basquiat was posthumously presented with the accolade as well.
“I feel honoured to be inducted into Brooklyn’s own Celebrity Path and receive a key to the city in June,” said Fabolous, according to XXL. “Along with the accolades and citation I was presented with last week from Borough President Eric L. Adams, I am grateful to be recognised by my hometown for my contributions and to receive the borough’s highest honours."
